The story of how David Bowie looked after Iggy Pop around the time of his The Idiot album when Iggy was trying to come off drugs has always been something which has stayed with me. Something to do with true friendship I think as I've never been on drugs. Both musicians were referencing Egon Schiele's paintings on their album covers around this time.
